Involvement
Program integration, investment strategic framing and sensitivity analysis, technical reviews (cut off grade, recoveries and blending strategies), cost efficiency

Role: Feasibility & Execution Readiness Advisor
Scope: New mine, train loadout, conveyors and transhipment
Involvement
Assurance, benchmarking and execution readiness review at the conclusion of the bankable feasibility study in support of funding request and IFC requirements.
Challenges included
country-specific risks, infrastructure sharing agreements, local content requirements, and sustainable mining practices, including the relocation of wild chimpanzee populations to designated sanctuaries.

Scope: Brownfield Mine Expansion, conveyors, and train loadout.
Involvement.
CBG is a JV between Alcoa, Rio Tinto, Government of Guinea.
During the final stages of the feasibility study, supported review of contracting strategies, assessed EPCm engineering progress and quality, team capability and evaluated execution readiness.
The project involved IFC funding, JV partnerships, government and country-specific risks, resettlement and compensation plans, evaluations, and execution readiness planning.

Scope: Project Process, Project Organisation Effectiveness and Benchmarking
Involvement.
Supported development of Small Projects Framework, streamlined governance and assurance, defined capabilities and staffing benchmarks and norms. Co-developed cost saving initiatives with Site Portfolio Manager and project superintendents.

Optimised scope and KPI integration between EPCM and PMC as well and multiple package contractors across China, Korea, Saudi Arabia and Netherlands. Reviewed maturity of package technical maturity and readiness for tender, as well as scope and schedule risks.
